Pont-Aven School of Contemporary Art is an international fine arts institution located in the historic artists' colony of Pont-Aven (Brittany, France). The student body is made up of third-year university or art college honors students or post-baccalaureate art majors (fourth/fifth-year) seeking further study. Graduate-level and on-line curricula are presently in development. The semester program calendar alternates between focused studio/classroom time in Pont-Aven and two intensive study trips to major centers of contemporary art, including London, Paris, Venice, Madrid, Berlin, Bilbao, and Barcelona. Four-week summer programs are also available.
