US citizens: If you do not already posses a valid passport, now is the time to apply. Regular passport applications can take 10 weeks or more to process. Expedited applications can take up to 6 weeks. To begin the process, US students should go to the official State Department passport website. You must have your passport in order to obtain a French student visa, which you will need if you plan to be in France 90 days or longer. (US citizens participating in one of the short summer programs will not need a student visa.) Students who do not hold a US Passport must consult with the French Embassy to determine if they are required to obtain a student visa to enter France. It is each individual student’s responsibility to determine what documentation is required for study with PASCA in France. The Pont-Aven School of Contemporary Art will provide the appropriate invitations for students who request visa support. - Insurance
Students are responsible for their own health, theft, travel, and personal liability insurance. Written proof of international health insurance coverage is required for all students, as is a medical form (which will be provided by PASCA) completed by your personal physician. - Additional forms
Additional forms will need to be filled out and sent as soon as possible after acceptance.
