Applications submitted on-line are not complete until the following support materials have been received:

1) Most recent transcript from current or most recently attended college or university,

2) Digital portfolio containing a minimum of 10 works (jpeg preferred). All files must contain the applicant's first and last name and be accompanied by a separate slide identification list numbered in correlation with the images and including the following information: Title of Work, Size, Date, Media. If the work is a school project, a brief description of the project is necessary. Portfolio materials may be submitted digitally to applications@pontaven.org
or by surface mail in CD/DVD format

Scholarship
  • Pont-Aven School of Contemporary Art offers a limited number of partial scholarships.
    These scholarships are intended for students who would have difficulty attending PASCA without financial assistance. After a review of the applicant’s portfolio, academic record and scholarship application materials, scholarships are allocated on the basis of:
    -Artistic Merit
    -Financial need
    -Diversity including age, ethnicity, geographic location
    To apply for a scholarship, complete and return the downloadable application.

Statement of Purpose:
Please write or paste a brief essay of no less than 300 words addressing (1) your choice of PASCA, its role in your educational plans, and expectations if accepted and (2) addressing your portfolio, including at least one paragraph interpreting the two images that represent the most and least successful artworks.
