Pont-Aven has been known as a gathering place for artists, poets, and intellectuals since the late 1800's. The Pont-Aven School of Contemporary Art continues this tradition by linking students from our many institutional partners around the world with faculty drawn from major international universities and art colleges. Prior to departure for France, students and faculty are supported by an American staff in the Central Office in Providence, RI. Students are met in Paris and accompanied to Pont-Aven where the French staff at the Main Campus facilitates their stay.
