Studying abroad offers the visual arts student understanding and new perspectives of both the “other” and the unique qualities of their own heritage and conventions. Our rigorous programs are designed to heighten this awareness, while allowing students to distill their ideas in a small community of practicing artists. Our studios are constructed as flexible spaces, allowing students to work simultaneously as independents and collaboratives.
