This year PASCA offers summer sessions in June and July:
PASCA is pleased to host Brown University's Summer and Continuing Studies Studio Art program in June 2011.
This fully accredited intensive institute is open to non-Brown students and interested parties should visit Brown University's website to learn more about the course offerings, faculty, to inquire, and to apply.
Location: Pont-Aven, France and Venice, Italy
July 3-29, 2011
Join us for three-plus weeks of intense, focused studio practice and study in Pont-Aven, culminating in a trip to the 54th Venice Biennale.
Courses will include painting, photography/video/digital media, and art history/critical studies.
Credits: 6 credits. Each course in this accredited program is worth 3 credits. Students are expected to enroll in 2 courses.
Eligibility: must be at least 18 years old.
Language requirement: none. English is the language of instruction.
Program fees: $8750.00
The program fee includes:
• Tuition for two courses • Homestay housing in Pont-Aven, France • Breakfasts and 4 dinners per week during the portion of the session held in Pont-Aven • Travel to Venice, Italy; accommodation in Venice • Admission fares to the Venice Biennale and other group visits to museums and galleries in Venice • Airport transfer from Paris to Pont-Aven at the start of the session • Travel from Venice to Paris at the end of the session • Hotel accommodation in Paris on the final day of the session
